Physical Appearance
Amy stands a full tall five feet. She has the pale, soft skin of a person who spends her time indoors reading book more than they would outside running or playing with other kids. She is skinny, and slender in figure, mother nature deciding to give her lack of curves even this late in her teenage years, giving her only a B cup in the chest.
She has fairly small amount of blemishes, making her skin look almost porcelain. Due to her build and her habit of being indoors, she is fragile. She doesn't like the prickly feel of new growing hair, so she makes sure to shave off every body hair she gets religiously. She loves the feeling of the smooth skin.
She has shoulder length black hair. Her hair is straight and smooth, with the feel more of someone of Asian descent than any other. It rarely tangles, but does tend to stick out in the morning, thus making her take her time to comb such to a more respectable image.
Her eyes have a dark red hue, almost to the color of crimson. Because of this, she has often been mistaken as an albino child. She has large eyes, with just the smallest hint of tilt, giving her again a look of more Eastern descent than that of her parents, who are full blooded white.
Her most prominent features are her wings, which are, in human form, useless, and her ears, which have points on the ends, making her look like a fey when her wings are hidden. Her wings are black, and come to about her forearm in length. They are not strong enough to lift her, or any normal human weight, but they do move and she can completely control them. The would act like a normal pair of wings, then can fold back, and they can flap, but they have bones, and cannot bend, nor do they have the bat "fingers".
She often wears bulky clothing, making her look smaller than she actually. Because of her size, she is quite cold, and will wear coats even in the summer. This is not just because of her temperature, but because she has been conditioned to hide her wings when out in public, even if she couldn't hide her ears. She will wear sweaters, full sleeved blouses, rarely wearing tee shirts or tank tops, or any really summer wear. Anything to hide her wings better, even if she has to have holes cut in the back of her clothes for her wings to poke through. Coats give her a more comfortable feeling when hiding her wings. Even though she doesn't like it as much, she is not completely uncomfortable wearing a dress, if it is long enough, and doesn't leave too much bare skin.
She will wear slightly baggy jeans, knee to full length skirts, or other leggings that doesn't hug her legs. She things that legging close to her legs will pass the cooler weather to them. She likes to wear tennis shoes, sneakers, and even boots. On occasions she will wear flats. she won't wear high heels or flip-flops because it makes her feet cold.

Personality
Amy is typically a shy and conservative person. Due to years of bullying and ridicule about her appearance, she has kept to herself most of her life. Kids would often flick her ears, or pull her wings, making her sensitive about both areas of her body more than anything else, and becomes embarrassed when anyone stares at them. She will go to some length to hide them or cover them up.
Because of the constant ridicule she endured early on in life, she is a somewhat closed and nervous, almost paranoid person. She would spend long times of her childhood inside, reading, or out in the woods alone, playing in nature. She loved the silence of night, the lack of people and the sounds of nature. She has always been a nocturnal person by nature, the sun sapping up her energy, making her constantly pass out in class. Thankfully she was smart enough that she could pass every test regardless.
Amy loves fruit, to almost an obsession. She has an affection for large, juicy, soft fruits, like pears or peaches. Kiwis are her favorite and will send her into a kind of catnip ecstasy. She also like sweets, even though unnaturally sweet things will easily giving her a stomach ache, but things like fruit pies or cobblers are fine. She dislikes spicy foods, and could care less about salty ones.
She dislikes crowds, yelling, or loud noises. She dislikes scary situations, but is not afraid of natural dark. She dislikes meat, and is a vegetarian. She is uneasy around men, as well as disliking the feel of hairy human skin, she is afraid of large or intimidating men, so much so that she actually prefers women, who she has an easier time warming up to. Because of her history with being picked on, she is sometimes clingy to her friends, not annoyingly, but just so that she likes the comfort of another person when she can get it.
She is uncomfortable when someone she doesn't know touches her, and will often become incredibly nervous when this happens,. On the flip side however, she loves contact from her friends, and will often, albeit shyly, ask or give hugs to her friends as greetings or goodbyes, but only when there is not a large crowd around her.
Years of living and learning has hardened her, she isn't the scared little girl anymore, and while she still retains her joy and passion for life, it becomes more muted as she matures.

History
Amy has no memory before the age of three. She was found nude on the doorstep of Edna and Todd Winters in a remote area just outside of Marion, Virginia, USA. The truth that she and her foster parents don't know is that she is a true Lycanthrope, being of pure blood, the true Were-Bats spend their first three years in bat form, living with their parents until they shift for the first time. A lash from the aftermath of a hurricane had send her tumbling through the sky, blowing her off course from her parents, and she ended up on the Winter's doorstep.
The immediately took the baby in, noticing the wings and ears, but, being loving and tolerant people, they raised her and loved her all the same. Early childhood, she was sheltered from the knowledge of her transformations, telling her that those were all dreams until the age where she could understand what was happening to her. While she is a Were-bat, she is a rare breed, one that does not follow the normal chain of Vampire bat. She is of the Fruit bat breed, and doesn't hunt animals in her bat form, though she is a terror around orchards.
As a child, her foster parents kept her sheltered from the other children as much as they could, covering her wings when they went out to play in the parks where there were other children around. After her Elementary school started, she would wear coats almost constantly, even in the summer months of classes. Secretly however she would often go into the national forest she lived near in non-constricting clothing, like shorts and a tee-shirt, and roam the woods, enjoying the freedom from persecution from the other children.
The Dawn of Evo in 2007 never really effected her. She lived in a small town, and the events of the world was lost on them mostly. She was secretly excited, would this mean more acceptance of her condition than before? For the most part, no. Evo children were rare in her town, the whole only sprouting ten of them. She wondered if she was an Evotelluric, but she doubted it.
So she did a little research. She found out she was was not some genetic mutation, but something out of legend. She was a little chagrin that her class of Lycanthrope, like most, have been overlooked by the more common type, the werewolf. That explained the changes. Her parents could care less about what she was. Amy was their daughter, and that was all they cared about.
Still, they worried that her ridicule would only increase, and with martial law established. Over the next few Years they kept their ears close to the ground, watching the news for any thing that could help their child. Eventually they found it. A joint Academy between those magi and Japan. Somewhere for those not normal humans. The immediately decided this was for their child and enrolled her.
The fallout of this new information gave Amy mixed feelings. While she rejoiced at the thought that she would finally have a place where she wasn't constantly tortured for her, as the teachers called it, deformity, she felt a little abandoned by her parents. The assured her that they still loved her, but they wanted what was best for her, somewhere where she belonged. She knew they were right. She was sad to leave them, but she was also excited for this new experience.
And new experiences she had, life at the academy was great, she found love, lost and reborn, friends and a new family. She met many amazing people, and through it all found parts of herself she never knew existed. Life was a roller coaster ride. For four long years she lived at that school, grew to know herself, and become more than the girl she was. She became the woman she was meant to be. Even after the end came. The dead rising from the earth, dragging down many she loved. Friends, family, gone.
Running in terror, she fled all she knew. Hoping for a way out... someplace safe from all the death and destruction. If only she had a door she could flee from all this madness and chaos...

Powers/Abilities
Were-Bat Physiology | Her most prominent features are her wings, which are, in human form, useless, and her ears, which have points on the ends, making her look like a fey when her wings are hidden. Her wings are black, and come to about her forearm in length. They are not strong enough to lift her, or any normal human weight, but they do move and she can completely control them. The would act like a normal pair of wings, then can fold back, and they can flap, but they have bones, and cannot bens, nor do they have the bat "fingers". She has the ability to see in the dark at will. This is be self activated, and would blind her in direct sunlight, or any light source. When activated, it takes about five to ten second to fully switch, but when it does she can see about 100 yards in pure darkness, as long as there is nothing obscuring her vision. When she does change into night vision, her eyes will glow red. She has sensitive ears, and can hear a shout about half a mile away. She has very little control over this, just basic control over whether she has close or long range hearing. Close hearing is anywhere from right next to her to about 50 yards of enhanced hearing, while long range is anywhere from 50 to 500 yards. She can't focus it on a certain direction or location. This effect is constant, so she is very sensitive to shouting, and someone screaming in her ear could easily disorient her, or give her a massive headache, that is in normal hearing, when she is in her long range, even normal talking could annoy her, shouting in close proximity to her while in long range hearing would certainly give her a migraine for a few days, an air horn in the same situation would most likely rupture her ear drum. |
Were-Bat Shifting | |
Bat Call | Because of Amy's heritage of a true werebat, Amy has the ability to call upon at the max 12 bats in a one mile radius around her. She cannot control them beyond making them come close to her, no closer than 2 yards, and no more than 6 yards and they are dispersed when she releases the ability. The type of bat is what ever bat happens to be in the area of her effect. Of course she would have to wait for them to get to her, the times depending on how far away said bat is. Amy calls them by emitting a subconscious pseudo-psychic sonar link to them by way of being a supernatural "alpha bat" She cannot use this in any other way, nor would it work on any other type of creature, sentient or other wise. Psychic shields and attacks can cancel the effect if they knew about it. She can hold this power for approximately 8 to 10 minutes, but no longer than 12, or it would strain her mind and she would gain a large headache. The purpose of this power at this time would be primarily distraction or cosmetic purposes. Amy cannot tell the bats to do anything besides come to the area specified, Any attempt at anything more complex would result in confusion among the bats and termination of the duration of her power. She can do this power about three times a day, or once every four hours. |
Tools
Antilyconin Ruabane Pills | A specially developed chemical processed by Lycan scientists to add human cognitive thoughts to continue while in their Lycan state. The chemical comes in several forms ranging from inhalers, pills, and direct injections through a syringe. The pill medication must be taken twice a day to ensure maximum results. Pills must be taken even on days not close to the transformation period. In pill form, patients can carry around a transportable case similar to birth control pill cases. Patients who receive liquid medication will have to purchase a supply from the pharmacist and use a similar set up as diabetics and can take their doctor recommended doses once to twice a day. Those who own inhalers are to use the inhalers once every four hours, and keep a high supply of cartridges on hand in case the inhaler runs out. Some take their medication through syringes once a day normally, but also keeps pills handy for travel and emergency. Pills do not work if the patient is already transformed into a feral wolf. This chemical also has no effect on other races, or any harmful side effects. Amy has enough to last her for about three months. |
Elemental Cloth | Elemental Cloth is a special fabric based off of Watercloth that is much more resistant and that through some enhancements can provide much better protection for magi and evos alike. For a start, the cloth adapts to the body, making buying new clothes only necessary when looking for a new style and pattern. This also implies that if the owner was to shift forms, the cloth would mold to the new shape and optionally integrate to the skin. Minor forces are effectively spread through the cloth, making paper cuts, bruises and similar minor threats from walking around a wild environment null. This however doesn't implies you won't get slashed by a sword, or stabbed by a dagger or knife, this only protects from minor threats and can be upgraded to obtain more resistance. |
Katana | One Katana with fresh zombie brains, given to her by an old friend. |
