I have set up the wireless printer without any cables. It is now connected to the home network and has an IP address: 192.168.8.1. A successful connection from the printer to the home network is indicated by a green light and this green light is turned. However, when running the setup program, the laptop is not able to locate the printer. I have tried to locate the printer using Epson iPrint on my iPad, but the iPad is also not able to locate the printer over the network. During the installation, I have also disabled the firewall in Windows, and on the router settings. I called Epson for some assistance, and in the end we tried to ping the IP address of the printer, but the result was "destination host unreachable". The customer service agent then suggested that it was an issue that I had to resolve with the service provider. So my individual devices are able to connect to the router: all devices have a designation IP address MAC filtering is also disabled. But the devices are not able to connect to each other. In this case, the laptop to the printer. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what the issue might be? Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
